It was a cold evening in the underworld, especially for Fuschia Corason. She stepped out of the demon taxi and her face is covered in tears. She knew that her and Akina will never be the same, or even Lee.There was a huge gate in front of her and behind those gates was a gargantuan dark castle. She pressed the doorbell at the gate and a deep voice replied.
"Name please"
"My name is Fuschia Corason," responded Fuschia.
The gate opened and Fuschia walked towards the big front doors. Before she was near it, the door opened and showed the butler. It was a tall goat man with the head of a goat and the body of a man wearing a butler outfit. What scared Fuschia was its glowing yellow eyes.
"Come this way, Miss Corason," he said. "Your room is at the end of the hall on the far right accross from the master's bedroom on the 5th floor."
He walked with her to the elevator to the 5th floor and led her to the room. She looked on the oppposite side from her room in the hallway and notice that the door of Beezel's room was even more larger than her's. She opened her door and witnessed a magnificent bedroom with its own bathroom. She dropped her things at the edge of the bed and touched the bed covers. they were soft and smooth silk. Still deep in messy feelings, she didn't bother looking at the intricate details of everything of the room.
"Master Yozebel is waiting for you at the dining room, please come this way." said the goat.
She followed the goat man to the elevator to the 2nd floor and they walked in to a vast dining room with Yozebel sitting at one of the table.
"So...How was your day at school?", Beezel politely asked.
"You knew it was going to happen?.... Between Lee and Akina?"
"It happened moments while you were engulfed in your thoughts right before you died," he responded.
She stopped looking at him and she decided to watch outside. It was dark outside. He noticed her looking at the sky through the window. He then spoke
"It's always night time here, but we follow the 24 hour clock. In some areas and cases, time is different and warped."
Fuschia then takes a seat oppposite of Beezel. Food came right away. It was all delicious meals that Fuschia could ever dreamed of. Some, however, were questionable items to her eye as she was looking at a bowl full of eyes with irises that are both really slanted and abnormally dilated, small elephant trunks on a silver platter, blue brains labeled "tastes like strawberries!", fox tails with a label "like a fox beauty" and on a glass bowl black small marble-like food packaged "bad kids candy" . Yet, after today's events, Fuschia didn't had any appetite to eat all the food anyway. She pushed her plate aside and then the cook, a large potbellied being with a human body and a fish head popped in the dining room and saw Fuschia refuse her plate.
"How dare you not eat my food! You're insulting my cooking! Are you saying that my food is not good enough for you?!, " the fishchef cried.
"My apologies, I didn't mean to, I-"
"How dare you insult me and the Devil King!" said the fish cook.
At the sound of the title, she gulped and said:
"Th-The Devil King?"
"Yes, the Devil King! Now Miss tell me right this instant-", the cook was interrupted because then and there, Fuschia ran away from her seat and out of the dining room.
"Miss!", the Butler cried out to her as she was running away from the Devil King.
"Fuschia!," Yozebel cried out to her from the dining room door. She ran and ran down the grand splendid staircase pass the great hall and out to the door. Rain pouring down hard, she ran outside to the gate and pressed the button to open it. The gate opened and Fuchia ran out of the castle grounds and into town. Despite the rain, she ran and ran not knowing where to go. She found shelter in a tavern where the bouncer had an ogre face with tusks on his bottom jaw.
"Are you 18 and over?" The ogre asked.
"Yes"
"You can come in." he replied.
Fuschia enters the tavern and finds a seat at the bar. She looked around her surroundings. Creatures that she hasn't seen before: cat people, dog people, demons, vampires, elves, munchkins, halflings, dwarves, goblins, mice people and so on and on. Even the bartender looked like a man with a head of a black bull. Some looked human, and others had anthropological bodies with a supernatural touch to their appearance. The bartender asked for her order and she ordered for a coke and rum. When the bartender brought her drink to the counter for her, she realized she didn't had any money on her. Then suddenly, a voice spoke to the both of them:
"I'll pay for her drink."
Beside Fuschia, here beholds a tall and slender man with hooded cloak over his head. He had red eyes, long dark hair and a scar over his right eye. The mysterious man tossed a bill on the counter in front of the bartender. The bartender takes the money and left to tend to another customer. Fuschia then thanked the stranger and he grinned back at her.
While she innocently sipped her rum and coke, the handsome yet scarred-faced stranger smirks to his amusement at her underaged drinking.
